You made me Administrator once (which I thought was odd because then I lose the Administrator access when you return, which just feels odd), and then the necxt two times you left you didn't. I assumed that you did this on purpose for whatever reason (it's sometimes hard to tell, since you took Moderator access away from other Riptide members in the past), and left it alone.
I forgot. I do have a lot of other things on my mind when I'm getting ready to go away then micromanaging user permissions.
>Though I still think it's silly. It's not a question of "Why is it needed?" for me as much as a question of "Why not?" I consider myself trustworthy, and I'd most likely never have to do anything that requires those abilities anyway. But they're there if the situation ever presents itself. I dunno. I can live without the tag and abilities, obviously, but I don't see what the big problem with me being Administrator in the first place is. Bleh. :P
No, its a question of why. Any permission is a question of why, and not why not. You don't think "well why not give the guest account read access to everything?", or "why not give the users local admin rights?", or "why not do anything". You always think *why*. "Why does user X need this?"
And in this case, user X doesn't need it. That you even ask the question "why not" again, after how many times we've gone through this, is simply another answer I can give. If you had the philisophy I want in someone running the place on a long term basis, the question wouldn't keep coming up.
So, if you ask why or why not, I can answer either way. The question should be why though.
