A Goon
From what I hear, I'm not well liked among the local mothers because I believe no child in town should ever go without cookies.

No one, but NO ONE, deserves the kinda crap Gates puts up with on a daily basis. You might think so, but I am sure you have no idea what it's like to have millions of people hating you when you wake up every morning, so it's easy for you to assume that he deserves it all without wondering what kind of hell he has to put up with. You might also be unsympathetic because you remember the crappy stuff HE has done, but when you put it in perspective, what, exactly, has he really done? Because he made somy buggy, crappy software, you HATE him? You think it's fair that others HATE him, because he made smart (albeit, not exactly morally right) businses decisions that other businesses would make in his shoes? He lived in a dog-eat-dog world, and I don't think it's really fair that us armchair critics sit here and bash this guy.

The fact of the matter is that you shouldn't HATE someone you have never met. For all you know, Bill Gates could be one of the nicest, caring people out there. He could be a really great guy. But all you know is what you percieve of him, and the same thing goes with the other Bill-bashers. But you still think that millions of people should hate him? Sheesh. I think it's easy to say that, as I said, without living in his shoes, without having his kind of money or power or responsibility to his employees and the economy in general. Even if he did do a lot of things that aren't morally correct, I don't hate someone I have never met, because you don't know what he's thinking. You don't even know the first thing about the guy. You just assume that he sits around all day planning out his next evil deed. At least, the Gates-bashers do, because they refure to acknowledge the other side of the coin, and the fact that they are just bitter.

Bleh.
