But in this case, I don't believe so. This kind of virus is extremely easy to catch. All they need is to get a single copy of it. Its always the same, and it doesn't try to hide itself really. So that makes it pretty easy to identify and add a database entry for.

(once puppet gets his hands on a new trojan, it usually only takes him a day or so to get it added to The Cleaner's db, and I know he isn't creating them)

Some of the more nasty viruses maybe, but we know who created Melissa thanks to MS tracking us, and that virus used basically the same setup as this one does. The biggest problem is clients like Outlook Express which can autorun attachments and allow crap like javascript to be processed in email. (then allow easy access to the addressbook and sendmail api's)

Try to find an email like this that affects Eudora 3. Good luck.
