Check to make sure your video card/system in general isn't overheating. You can usually check the MoBo temperature in your BIOS Power Saving Options (or with an Asus Board, the program on the cd which can also do it from windows).
Do the usual update your drivers thing.
Try another monitor. Your monitor may be going.
Try hitting the degauze function on your monitor, if it has one.
I'd come up with some more, however the winfax server is acting up.
