That's kinda dumb, then.

The person on the viewscreen said that they had hidden a bomb, and set up clues for everyone to find it.

Right, but SM_007 is a secret agent, born and bred to do something like this for a living. He went down and sniffed it out with his own natural ability. The ship picked up the signal from the radiation (something I am sure Tridus wasn't really counting on when he wrote his first story in this series, but a Klingon Bird of Prey CAN do that, so I was only going by pure logic), and that's why BandWidth was so proud of himself and had a "Take that, beetch!" attitude when the ship picked it up so quick. They were foiling that woman's game.

Also, thy sensors found something that COULD be a bomb before, but now they seem to be able to pick it up instantly anyways?

When did they pick up something that could be a bomb before? I don't think they ever did that in a Bird of Prey. And yes, like I said, a Klingon Bird of Prey is a ship, according to Star Trek, that has scanners that can scan for particular elements. You watch Star Trek yourself, and you know that ANY ship can so such a thing. I am not going to ignore facts like that, and really, what I did was a king of clever cop-out based on what would REALLY happen. They didn't even need to use the clues (so far), and that's the whole point.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the clues and stuff?

Again, that's the whole point. But if you really wanted this to continue, you could have just written a story about how the bomb they found was only a decoy or something, instead of just pretending that my story didn't happen because you don't seem to like it. Tough. I mean, really, just because you disagree with a story doesn't mean that you pretend it never happened in your own little personal storyverse. What you have to do is work from it. Right now your story is ruining continuity, so I don't know what I am supposed to do about it. Your story doesn't fit.

And again, I don't really have a problem with the Resident Evil puzzles and all of that; I just don't want you to include these things if you are only doing it to make sure that Irvine actually does blow up in the storyverse, like some sort of storyverse sabotage.

Respond, s'il vous plait.
