If you don't, it converts the & symbol into a - to prevent things like unclickable posts and such, so it won't let you do it, well, at least until I tweak it some more anyway. I haven't looked at that code in a good long while.

You can't use the actual " in a subject, it will be converted to ' because a " screws up the form.
