A Goon
In the end, I wonder if one of the most important steps on our journey is the one in which we throw

away the map. In jettisoning the grinds and brambles of our own preconceptions, perhaps we are better able to find

the real secrets of each place; to remember that we are all extensions of our collective history.

I can't blame him cause I would have reacted the same way. But it's like when you piss off your parents and they say you are grounded for a month, when it's only like a day.

>Its not necessarily a lifetime ban, its a ban until I see fit to remove it. That may very well be never, neither of them has contributed *anything* positive to this community. If it had been you, or SoulTaker, or anybody who had at some point contributed something to the community, then I would probably be a lot more lenient. But one acted like a total idiot despite several requests (polite ones at that) to stop, and the other is just an asshole.

>It also goes further then that. I work damn hard to keep all this stuff up and running so that everybody can post and chat and have a good time. I've also had argument with more then one person in an attempt to keep this place free of moderation so that people can have the ability to say what they want without fear of having it deleted for no real reason.

>When a couple of idiots come along and abuse that, I get damn pissed off. I'd been losing patience quite rapidly with Basin over the entire week, the nazi post finally just pushed it over the edge.

>> I think the ban should be for 2 weeks then lifted. They shouldn't have to appologize if they don't want to. That's a freedom we all have, to either say your sorry or say I don't have too. But as far as banning them because they won't appologize is a little harsh. I personally feel 2 weeks, lift the ban, and if they come back acting the same way, then ban them for 2 months. Although most of the people that know Basin and Ravage! know them on other forums so I doubt they would be back after 2 weeks anyways.

>Indeed, they have the freedom to not apologize if they don't want to. And I have the freedom to keep them banned for as long as I see fit.

>And I banned them for being an idiot and an ass respectively. They weren't banned for not apologizing. Without any reason to lift the ban, I don't intend to. They have to give me a reason if they want it lifted. An apology is a reason.

>> This also eleveates the ban now on newbies that want to see the forum without having to get a password to do it. I think this ban hurts this forum as well.

>That I will probably undo in a few days, as anybody who doesn't want to see them can turn on the "Block posts from anonymous users" option. Your right, that ban does hurt the forum, however I had to get rid of them.

>> Now I'm not saying Tri or SM have to allow them back, I just think maybe a lifetime ban is a little harsh. And we all know Ravage! won't appologize, that's just the way the dude is. Personally I kinda think he is funny when I talk to him on ICQ, but then of course that's not the forum or replace the things he said to Tri either

>Like I said, the ban stays until I have a reason to remove it. Its up to them to decide if they want back in or not. If they do, then they can do something about it.

>(Of course Ravage is pretty funny, the guy is a total joke, threatening to hax0r me for this... gee, I'm quivering.)

>Basically, I have no intention of putting up with that kind of shit from them here, they can go to the War Room and do that. My rules for this place are so lenient and wide open, there is *NO* execuse for breaking them.

>> Enough rambling, my head hurts, aaaahhhhhhhhhh D2 will cure that headache, oh yeah baby! :)
