But Marge...you're missing the point. It was a team effort; and I was the one that came up with the whole team idea!

Note to self: The reset button is bad...

Dammit. My modem's COM port got locked open even though I wasn't using it. I tried rebooting. Nothing. I tried a cold boot. Still open. So I turned the system off, on, off, then on again within 1 second (I don't have a reset button for some odd reason).

Oh. Yay. So I booted off a floppy.

C:\>edit system.ini
Bad Command or File Error
C:\>edit io.sys
Bad Command or File Error

Wonderful. I checked in my BIOS.

BOOT DEVICE ORDER
First Boot: [Removable Drives]
Second Boot: [Removable Drives]
Third Boot: [ATAPI CD-ROM]
Fourth Boot: [Network Devices]

Wait a second, something's wrong here.... So I reset BIOS to default settings and look back at Boot Devices.

First Boot: [Removable Drives]
Second Boot: [Hard Drives]
Third Boot: [ATAPI CD-ROM]
Fourth Boot: [Network Devices]

That's better. Now, back to Windows...

Thank you america, now I'm going to go insane.
