Some thoughts...

I haven't seen The Green Mile or The Insider yet, but I have heard some negative stuff about The Green Mile, if you can believe it. I heard that while it's a good movie, it is kinda the typical Hollywood, Titanic-ish film that's meant to tug your heartstrings and so forth. I also heard that something really dumb and/or weird happens at the end, and although I have kinda already heard what it is, I won't spoil anything. I don't really know many people who have seen The Insider, so I can't tell you much about that. Green Mile might be the better choice, but it still sounds like the kinad movie you'd expect going in, overall. The Talented Mr. Ripley is an okay flick, but it's kinda long and just plain weird. It's one of those movies you watch and think about afterwords, but also realize that they weren't clear on a few things, and that it was not good enough to see again. At least, that's how I felt, even though it was decent. I'd give it 3.5 stars out of a possible five. Hope this helps. If I were you, I'd still see The Green Mile, even though that kinda disappointed some people despitre being good. Weird, eh?

We may be through with the past, but the past is not through with us.
