Outraged? I'm barely surprised. This is a country where women aren't allowed to drive a car. They're not allowed to be in the company of any man other than a close relative. They're required to adhere to a dress code that would make a Maryknoll nun look like Malibu Barbie. They beheaded 121 people last year for robbery, rape, and drug trafficking. They have no free press, no elected government, no political parties. And the Royal Family allows the Religious Police to travel in groups of six carrying nightsticks and they freely and publicly beat women. But 'Brutus is an honorable man.' 17 schoolgirls were forced to burn alive because they weren't wearing the proper clothing. Am I outraged? No. . . . That is Saudi Arabia, our partners in peace.

You watched that ABC special didn't you? :)

Of course I find the irony of ABC doing a special on freedom of speech and then not two days later censoring the singing of "Blame Canada" to be nothing short of astounding, but it was a pretty good special.

Basically, bleeding hearts, hypersensitive losers who have no idea how to deal with anything they don't like, and lawyers have pretty much eliminated the idea of free speech unless your on the net or agree with what everyone else thinks.

Its unbelievably pathetic and sooner or later will probably spell the downfall of the whole idea of democratic government, since it relies on two things to function: Free Speech, and Citizen involvement. If you can't say what you want and the media hounds everybody who tries to get involved (like what is happening now) you loose those two things, and the whole system falls apart.

In short, society is basically screwed unless it backtracks real fast from the direction its heading in... the faster they get rid of laws like hate speech and sexual harrassment which are only designed to make people helpless and dependant on the government to settle problems for them like six year olds, the better. While they're at it, they should get rid of reverse-discrimination laws, but thats a whole other can of worms.

Ps: if we have someone in here who was offended by this, then please respond. Thats the whole idea here, if you don't like it, say so. Not that I'm going to moderate a post to make you feel better, but a good discussion is a lot better then you just being lame.
